- Responsible for the daily banking - cheques / cash / BACS
- Responsible for the accurate allocation of all customer receipts
- Support the credit controller.
- Responsible for dealing with the purchase invoices.
- Processing supplier queries
- General admin duties and other ad-hoc duties
- For success it's vital that the candidate has a strong knowledge of transactional duties and some exposure to supervising.
- Previous Sales ledger and Purchase ledger experience
- Cash handling experience
- Experience using Excel is key.
- Must be willing to travel to Chorley on a regular basis.
- A salary up to £28,000 per year.

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Pay Bracket: £24,000 - £28,000 + Benefits.
We are working within a family-owned business who are looking for an experienced finance professional to join their team in Chorley.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. Directly working the existing accounts team and the FD, this role's mission is to deliver consistent and accurate accounts. This is a hands-on role where you will need to be able to perform across a spectrum.
