    Description

    Job Title: Support Secretary at Wrexham Substance Misuse Services

    An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Support Secretary role within Wrexham Substance Misuse Services. The selected candidate will provide accurate, confidential, and supportive administrative services for patients, clinical teams, carers, and various agencies, ensuring a safe and efficient patient pathway while offering necessary support to families and carers.

    • Provide a high-quality typing and administration service to support the secretarial team.
    • Assist in managing patients' medical case notes and maintaining an effective filing system.
    • Support patients along the defined patient pathway.

    Requirement: The ability to speak Welsh is preferred but applicants fluent in English are equally encouraged to apply.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Good standard of general education / GCSE math and English at grade C or higher, or equivalent
    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it
    • L2 RSA / OCR or equivalent experience
    • Evidence of continuous personal development
    • Knowledge of secretarial duties, including progress tracking
