    Description

    CXC is excited to collaborate with a top provider of temporary traffic management, barrier solutions, and events signage, in the quest for a skilled Credit Control & Sales Ledger Administrator.

    The opportunity is located at their Head Office in Torquay.
    Prior experience in Credit Control is a must, along with a solid Customer Service background. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Setting up and managing customer account details
    • Monitoring the banks daily and throughout the day to assign payments on the CRM system
    • Conducting Bank Reconciliations
    • Following up with customers regularly
    • Notifying about overdue debts
    • Communicating with customers and site agents in anticipation of payments
    • Collaborating with depots on customer inquiries
    • Escalating issues to the Line Manager
    • Handling Cheque payments and deposits
    • Allocating Cash Customer payments
    • Offering support to Sales Ledger as needed

    Key Skills/ Experience:

    • Experience with Sage Line 50
    • Exceptional telephone etiquette
    • Effective communication abilities
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Capacity to work towards targets and manage a busy workload
    • Ability to identify and raise any concerning issues
    • Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook

    Job Type:
    Full-time, permanent

    Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9-5

    Salary:
    £24,000-£27,000 per year DOE
