We are looking for a Modern Matron to work in our CAMHS Inpatient and YPHTT Brookside Services in the Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate. Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a registered nurse who will be responsible to provide clinical oversight and operational management for the 15 bedded acute inpatient ward and Yong People's Home Treatment Team. They will provide transformation, clinical and managerial leadership.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring that supervision, appraisal and PDP are embedded in practice. They will promote supervision as a positive influence for practice.
The post holder will provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence in clinical settings and service areas to staff, patients and carers.
The post holder will work with clinical teams in securing and assuring the highest standards of professional nursing care by providing direction, advice and intervention.
The post holder will provide a nursing lead on issues of Integrated Governance within the Teams.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High-Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436).
