Accounts Assistant
£22,000 - £25,000, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, 20 days annual leave + Christmas shutdown + bank holidays, Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Pension, Parking


The Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a market-leading business within the construction and interior fit-out sector.

Working as part of a small team, the Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing support across a widerange of functions within the finance department from processing and managing subcontractor invoices and payments, to sales ledger and reconciliations.


  • Process invoices for group companies
  • Setting up and maintaining all assigned ledger accounts
  • CIS Reconciliations and production of CIS reports and returns
  • Administration of company credit card expenses
  • Chasing payments of outstanding retention amounts
  • Assist with month end reconciliations

Requirements:


The role would either suit someone who has some financial qualifications and is looking to establish their career in Finance or someone who is already experienced in the field.

Due to the size and growing nature of our client, there is real long term careerprospects and opportunity for development.

You will have excellent communication skills with good IT literacy. You will be numerate with accuracy and attention to detail.
