Landau Employment Services are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Employment Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this impactful role, you'll empower individuals facing barriers to achieve work, housing stability, and financial well-being. You'll wear many hats, providing tailored support across various programmes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our clients reach their full potential


Key responsibilities will include:

Client Support

  • Work intensively with a caseload of clients to identify their employment/ housing/ financial wellbeing needs, skills, and aspirations.
  • Develop individualized plans to overcome barriers and achieve successful employment/ housing or financial wellbeing outcomes
  • Provide ongoing support with job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and financial literacy.
  • Advocate for clients with employers, landlords, and other agencies
  • Monitor client progress and make adjustments to plans as needed

Community Engagement

  • Build relationships with local employers, housing providers, and community organisations to identify opportunities for clients
  • Proactively source and develop job placements that align with client skills and preferences.
  • Participate in community events and outreach activities to promote Landau services

Data and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and complete client records in accordance with program guidelines and data protection regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, project reviews, and case studies.
  • Track and analyse data to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Partnership

  • Work collaboratively with mental health teams, social services, and other partner agencies to provide holistic support for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Technical competency (qualifications and training certificates/licenses)


Experience

  • Experience working with individuals facing employment or housing challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
  • A passion for social justice and a commitment to Landau's mission.

Hours: 36.5 hours per week


Salary:
£26,000 - £27,200 per annum
