Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

:


Main Purpose of the Role
:


For this role, you will be part of the Digital Training Team who are responsible for the delivery and upkeep of Mercia's Digital Training libraries, ensuring that all courses are available to clients as soon as possible.

They also ensure online libraries are maintained, relevant and up to date.

You will also work alongside colleagues, providing a service to our clients who access Mercia's website via the client account area to consume training products and services.


Responsibilities
:


  • Assisting with the planning and organising of online training. This involves coordinating speakers, recordings, dates and communications to clients.
  • Support in the planning of Mercia's training programme as required.
  • Testing of interactive elearning courses
  • Liaising with Key Account Managers, Product Manager and major clients where required and ensuring that courses and assets are provided for their bespoke account areas on Mercia's website.
  • Assisting the Digital Training Executive with the development and enhancement of the ondemand client account area of the website
  • Supporting problems and queries regarding the My Account area of the website such as registration issues and course access.
  • Reviewing processes and procedures to continually improve
  • Delivering a key contribution to the development of the business and ensuring that Mercia's training is always of the highest quality.
  • General assistance within the Course Operations team where required.

  • Be a strong team member who can support others with tasks
  • To be able to demonstrate that you can work in a fastpaced environment
  • To be able to communicate clearly and efficiently with clients and external suppliers, including dealing with difficult conversations.
  • To be an exceptionally strong planner who can prove they can multitask
  • Strong English skills, backed by the relevant qualification(s)
:

GCSE, Key Skills or Functional skills

  • Strong ICT skills and exposure to different systems
  • Ability to negotiate with others and seek resolutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with mínimal supervision. This is important as the team work in a hybrid office/home environment.
  • Exceptionally well organised and able to plan independently
  • Experience in organising training
  • Experience in the same or similar role
