Who We Are:


European Tour Productions produce and distribute golf coverage of the DP World Tour, The Challenge Tour, The Ryder Cup and The Open.

In this capacity, ETP has produced the live coverage for hundreds of events around the world and not just in Europe.

We travel to events in the middle east, Asia and Africa and have produced the last twelve Ryder Cups and The Open since 2016.

In 2021, and despite COVID restrictions we delivered over 850 hours of live world feed golf coverage.

Our award winning original and branded content is expanding, and we also produce a broad range of content for social media channels and The European Tour website.


What You'll Do:


You will be involved in helping shape our pre-event portfolio of broadcast and digital content for the Ryder Cup being held in Rome.


European Tour Productions is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Producer to develop, research, and produce digital content for use across official Ryder Cup channels.

The Assistant Producer will also support the wider Ryder Cup Production team across the breadth of broadcast and branded content output in the lead-up to the 2023 Ryder Cup, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Creating content for The Ryder Cup's digital platforms that protects and enhances the brand whilst also growing reach, exposure and value through quality storytelling and engagement.
  • Developing new content ideas and strands while adhering to brand requirements in terms of style, editorial relevance, and creativity.
  • Producing and edit video news releases.
  • Producing single-camera shoots and conducting interviews with contributors.
  • Liaising with the Ryder Cup Content Manager, ensuring timely delivery of digital content.
  • Providing research and edit support for the Official Ryder Cup broadcast preview series.
  • Providing edit and research support across ongoing branded content projects.
  • Employing knowledge of current/future broadcast trends & patterns (industry best practice).

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Experience of telling sharp, current stories with action footage, animation and graphics.
  • A strong understanding of the current trends for content production.
  • Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • An interest in digital production workflows and the digital content space.
  • A passion for sport, ideally golf.
  • Experience of directing single-camera and multi-camera shoots.

  • Sound editorial judgement.
  • Creativity in the edit.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Methodical and accurate even when under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role working for a production company, rightsholder or professional sports team.
