Role Overview:

The Global Portfolio Manager for Packages and Decarbonisation Solutions provides direction, leadership and subject matter expertise for the Packages & Decarbonisation Solutions product portfolio on a global basis.

The Global Portfolio Manager will deliver sustainable long-term growth, maximised profit and an increased vitality index for the portfolio by ensuring our products and services meet customer needs and are attractive to the market.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...

•Review the existing strategies and product roadmaps for the Packages & Decarbonisation Solutions product portfolio and assess if they need to be refreshed. Where applicable, develop the portfolio strategy considering market sector focus areas. Work with the delivery team to prioritize activities and implement the strategy.

•Oversee the HyperCare pilot in the 3 selected OpCos and work with key stakeholders to upskill the OpCo competency with selling packages.

•Support wider Sector & Portfolio team in the ideation and evaluation of new and innovative Sector-specific PSSO opportunities, reviewing existing Portfolio offers for options to accelerate delivery.

•Support GSC (Global Supply Chain) closely to optimize the Packages & Decarbonisation Solutions and its manufacturing footprint.

•Recommend and implement end of life strategies, manage, and communicate any changes in product lifecycle stage with internal and external stakeholders.

•Develop Product Lifecycle curves for the main Product Families that deliver 80% of your portfolio revenue.

•Manage product line profitability from manufacturing through to sales, the identification of the correct market price to maintain sales growth and margins.

•Identify triggers for portfolio optimisation, quality resolution, strategic pricing and growth opportunities by continuous monitoring of Total Product Lifecycle performance, including Lifecycle curves and sustainability life cycle assessments.

•Investigate competitors' approach to market and working with the appropriate divisions/regions/ local Operating Companies develop and implement effective strategies (product and sales) to grow local market share

Your previous experience is likely to include....

•Global experience of product related Business Development and/or Product Management activity.

•Relevant technical experience and understanding of the processes used by customers in key sectors

•Completion of Pragmatic Marketing modules 1-6 is preferred.

•Experience of strategy development and implementation.

•Developing sales and margin growth.

•Experience of developing and implementing SMPs.

•Experience of market led product development.

•Experience of global pricing policy and setting.
