The Position:

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Team Leader.


As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the daily appearance of the internal and external property areas.

You will be passionate about service delivery and ensure all activity is focused on adding value to our customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Management of the cleaning team in accordance with Company guidelines, including induction and on the job training as appropriate, to ensure staff are developed and motivated to their full potential to meet the needs of the business.
  • Management and implementation of cleaning rota to provide the best output for the customer.
  • Consult with the line management and the relevant stakeholders on a regular basis, ensuring delivery is always maintained.
  • Implement Health and Safety and COSHH legislation, ensuring all guidelines and legislation are met.
  • To undertake general cleaning duties including floors, toilets, furniture, and fittings, emptying bins and removal of rubbish at site ensuring the safe segregation and disposal of rubbish in accordance with company procedures.
  • Keep client's environments clean and tidy to BICSc standard.
  • Ensure all KPIs and SLAs related to cleaning are adhered to.
  • Take ownership for the cleaning budget and performance on site.
  • Stock control and ordering of cleaning materials.
  • Attend training courses as is necessary to maintain standards in the contract and assist in carrying out the job role efficiently.
  • Support the team during absence and holidays etc.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired, ideally in a commercial setting.
  • Demonstrates pride and accountability in your work.
  • Takes personal accountability in maintaining exemplary standards.

  • Excellent time management organisation and focus on ability to prioritise and multitask with clear ability to focus on detail.

  • Flexibility to cover additional hours as and when required.
