- Manage project resource / 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery to time, cost and scope
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Track progress against project milestones and deliverables and provide appropriate progress reports
- Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans and where appropriate, ensure appropriate and effective testing is performed
- Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources including negotiation with other managers to source required resources
- Own change control and any required configuration management.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including scope, governance, plan, risks/issues and associated communications documents.
- You will have demonstrable experience in planning and successfully delivering complex, multi-component pension projects across people, process and systems and be preferably professionally qualified.
- You will have operational knowledge of the UK DB and DC legal, regulatory & taxation framework.
- You will have proven leadership in a team environment with evidence of collaboration to deliver common goals to agreed deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility for own areas of work.
- You will have demonstrable experience of project status reporting to all levels, highlighting potential issues and project slippage and explaining plans to mitigate these issues
- You will have proven ability to communicate complex issues / requirements clearly in all media to a variety of audiences and effective engagement of stakeholders of all levels.
- You will have demonstrable experience of producing project documentation throughout the full project life cycle.
