  • Provide investment recommendations and research to Quilter Cheviot investment managers.
  • Responsible for analysis of Energy and Materials sectors. Develop a good understanding of the sectors, their constituents and share pricedrivers
  • Maintain active recommendations on 40-50 equities in the UK, Europe and the US. Generate effective, timely investmentrecommendations
  • Keep electronic stock databasesup-to-date
  • Communicate stock and sector recommendations effectively and persuasively in both verbal and written settings. Attendance and contribution at morning and other investmentmeetings
  • Inform fund managers of significant developments andevents
  • Play an active part in the Company's central investment process including contributing to model portfolioprocess
  • ·Carry out sector presentations to London investment teams and regional offices (travel to offices asrequired).
  • Contribution to marketing activities (articles, presentations) asrequired

    • About You

  • Equity research analysis experience (buy sidepreferred).
  • Experience of analysing Energy & Materials sectorspreferable.
  • Knowledge of Factsetuseful.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and complete timelyanalysis.
  • Educated to degree standard preferably with a post graduate investment qualification.
  • CFA charter holder
