About The Role:
- The Education Mental Health Practitioner will deliver short term low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) informed interventions for children and young people aged 519 years with anxiety, low mood, common challenging behaviours, family and peer relationship difficulties, difficulty adjusting to change and transition or difficulty managing emotions in educational settings. Working with Designated Mental Health Leads and other educational staff to build on and develop evidencedbased Whole School Approaches.
About You:
You will be a Qualified EMHP or Mental Health Practitioner who is enthusiastic about and experienced in working with children and young people to recognise and intervene early when mental health or emotional wellbeing needs are identified.
Has experience in working individually and in groups using a creative, flexible and person-centred approach and is willing to share your experience and contribute to the development of a range of whole school approaches to support educational settings to meet the mental health and emotional needs of the pupil population, staff and parents.
You need to be be a team player, able to use your strengths in establishing positive professional relationships to co-operate and work with others in the team and other organisations.
Being highly motivated, flexible, and able to work without direct supervision you will be confident in your practice and also in knowing when to seek advice or support.
You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.About Us:
