Description
Our client has been in the glazing industry for over 30 years.

They have a leading-edge showroom with customer service at the front and centre of all they do.

In addition they have trade relationships and an open house for builders and developers to sit with their customers and to envisage the final design.


Main Purpose of Role


To support the Newbuild sales function and New build installer network with the processing of customers orders as well as tender documents plus resolving of technical queries with Timber, Upvc and Aluminium Fenestration products.


Responsibilities:


  • Process and verify orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Process and verify tenders accurately for forwarding to clients
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
  • Assist as required with development of customer specific specs
  • Ensure good working relationship with all in house aspects of the supply chain.
  • Assist in development of a userfriendly estimating format for quotations.

Technical Competence

  • Satisfactory and consistently positive feedback from clients and customers
  • Accurate and timely preparation of tenders and pricing
  • Financial awareness
  • Technical expertise product and competitor activity
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds targets and objectives

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in a similar order processing/estimating position
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Attention to detail
  • Communicative
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Understanding and ability to work with plans, take offs, & schedules
  • Ability to perform to agreed timescales
  • Ability to deliver customer expectations and aim to exceed
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Strong IT and numerical skills knowledge of estimating software packages

Salary:
£32,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
