The Retrofit Academy CIC is a national market leader in the training of domestic retrofit professionals. We are a young, dynamic, fast-growing, not-for-profit company training over 2,000 built environment professionals. We are also the UK's Centre of Excellence for the retrofit sector. Over the next 12 months we will be continuing to expand our products and services.

We have a fantastic team combining youth and experience.

We're operating flexible working with staff splitting their time between home and our offices, which are in a rural location just off J13 of the M6 between Stafford and Penkridge.


The Opportunity:

Individual:
We are in searching for a diligent individual who is eager to advance in customer support or training. Professionalism, refinement, and amiability are must-haves, along with a passion for customer interaction. Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, meticulous attention to detail, and adept administrative skills are fundamentals. Managing multiple tasks concurrently calls for excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Team collaboration is essential, yet self-sufficiency is valued.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Coordinator and Training Manager to provide comprehensive support to learners, encompassing onboarding, course organisation, communications, administration, and reporting.
  • Cultivate relationships and effectively engage with diverse customers to offer tailored support and guidance.
  • Proactively and accurately address customer inquiries, collaborating with team members to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Handle complaints and issues by customers with appropriate and precise information.
  • Maintain accurate and current learner data and register learners with relevant awarding bodies.
  • Manage learner invoicing and ensure timely payment processing.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of effective customer support principles and their significance.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their role in customer support and business operations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, preferably including formulas, pivot tables, and graphs.
