We are currently recruiting an office administrator to join our busy Bristol office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for that long term role in a fast-paced dynamic office. This is a busy role that requires adaptability, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

You must have previous experience in a similar role and ideally you will have some experience with Microsoft Dynamics. However, training will be given.


This is a Sunday Times top 100 employer who specialise in providing, project management, surveying and consultancy services to the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Screening calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary
  • Weekly stationery inventories to ensure all stock is up to date and ordering more when necessary
  • Managing and distributing all incoming and outgoing post and couriers
  • Photocopying, binding and filing all company documents
  • Booking meeting rooms and organising refreshments
  • Booking travel for Bristol and Cardiff office staff
  • Supporting technical staff with document production, typing, minutes, reports
  • Office facilities management support, coffee machine, office plants, photocopier.
  • Updating contact lists on the company database
  • Providing support with reception duties, meeting and greeting external clients
  • Office cover during staff holidays
  • Assisting the office manager with regular health and safety checks
  • Adhoc secretarial duties, including running personal errands and booking lunches
  • Organise travel and accommodation
  • Book couriers
  • Incoming and outgoing post for office

Essential Requirements:


  • Confident with all Microsoft Office packages (Teams, D365, outlook, word, excel)
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English level
  • Extremely organised
  • Able to prioritise a changing todo list
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Uses initiative
  • Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess a Customer focused approach
  • Initiative and selfmotivation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • A "can do" attitude
