As an Insurance Claim Handler, you will process all elements of a claim from the first notification of loss (FNOL) to assessing liability and investigating the details whilst providing excellent customer service.

You will represent the Company in both verbal and written interactions between clients, policy holders and suppliers. A large proportion of this contact is via telephone communication with some written communication.

You will also ensure that the claim file data is kept up to date, accurately reflecting the progress of the claim via the Claims Management System.

Training will be provided but some experience of claims handling will be beneficial. There will be a comprehensive training plan covering the first three months of your role.


Your Key accountabilities will be:

  • To process new claims efficiently and accurately on behalf of the Companys clients while building relationships between customer and company
  • To manage hire and repair claims successfully in line with current processes and compliance requirements
  • To liaise with customers, repairers and other parties resolving any issues that arise.
  • Achieve monthly KPI targets
  • To efficiently and professionally answer queries once fully trained in claims handling processes.
  • Promote the corporate image of S&G and our clients through providing the highest quality of customer service.
  • To liaise with other departments as appropriate to minimise customer inconvenience, efficiently deal with the claim and complete the customer journey

Salary:
£19,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
