Description
Southport College is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Progress Tutor to join our team on a full or part time basis.
About the role
Working across our level 1, 2 and 3 curriculum areas, you will be responsible for delivering the College's tutorial programme to full-time students, as well as monitoring student progress and attendance across their course.
You will provide students with a high level of support, facilitate sound careers advice and guidance, deliver weekly group tutorials, contribute to pastoral and careers related workshops and conduct regular one-to-one reviews that supports achievement and progression.
About you
You will possess or will be willing to work towards an appropriate teacher training certificate and a Level 3 Support or careers qualification. You will need experience of delivering relevant student support in a Further Education environment and will possess a good knowledge of current trends in education and Further Education. Excellent IT, administrative and organisational skills are also essential for success in this role.
