Marketing Executive

Circa £25,000 - £30,000 a year (dependant on experience)

Full Time Position

Permanent Contract

Location: 5 Vimy Court, Vimy Road, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1FG

Mon to Friday 9am - 5pm

About the role:

As the marketing lead, you will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy for the agency.

Using your, marketing experience, and customer insights, you will work with the business development team to quantify opportunities that will help define the best marketing strategy for the agency.

You will then socialize and gain alignment for the strategy with the agency partners for endorsement.

To be successful, you will have experience of marketing via digital and traditional methods and understand the insurance industry. Experience of the agricultural and commercial sectors within the Bedfordshire area would also be of benefit. You have experience in working with business development teams and adhering to corporate marketing guidelines. You are as capable in Excel as PowerPoint and know how data and information can support your strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Bring an entrepreneurial and selfstarter attitude to develop the agencies overall marketing approach for the sale of NFUM's products to the relevant segments.
Function as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with the agency partners that will promote the agencies relevance within the Bedfordshire business and agricultural community.
Use both digital and traditional media channels to ensure the marketing strategy is relevant to the targeted sector.
Organise networking events and seminars with existing and prospective clients.
Identify local sponsorship opportunities to promote the agency and NFUM brand awareness.
Develop a series of marketing campaigns along with the business development team to support sales efforts within specific targeted sectors.
Ensure all marketing is compliant with the NFUM and NFU guidelines.
Organise regional meetings and stands at trade and county shows for NFUM & NFU.

About you:

Marketing experience with a focus on creating propositions that standout in the industry.
Strong problem solving and planning skills with an excellent ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Develops strong partnerships; recognized as a team player.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
