Job Purpose:
At the Crichton Trust we pride ourselves on offering a fabulous range of service in a multi-venue operation.
You will work as part of a wider team to ensure all front of house services are set up and delivered to a high standard.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Ensure the front of house staff and kitchen staff are briefed daily on what's happening, bookings in diary, menu items, event details
- Meeting and greeting customers and providing a warm welcome
- Ensuring the shift runs seamlessly and all customers are attended to
- Understanding ingredients and answering questions on allergens
- Ensuring all Front of house areas are kept tidy and clean at all times during service
- Directing the staff as required to ensure they have all the relevant information prior to service, and to provide corrective training and guidance to the team
- To participate in staff training sessions
- Dealing with Customer complaints and ensuring the management team are aware of any service issues
- To cash up the EPOS system, in line with company procedures, alerting the management team of any issues
- To ensure the close up procedure is followed and that the building is left secure.
- To receive deliveries of food and beverage items ensuring they are checked against delivery notes and store in the appropriate place
- To be aware of the wastage and ensure any items of wastage or transfers between venues are recorded
- To ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and any Health and Safety issues are reported to the management or maintenance teams.
- To follow and ensure all bar are run in accordance with local licensing objectives
- Be willing to work in other venues operated by the Crichton Trust
Person Specification
- Be outgoing, friendly and professional
- Able to multi task and work under pressure in a faced paced environment
- Years experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Have an eye for attention to detail in every task undertaken
- Be organised and be able to follow instructions
- Be customer focused
- Be able to work on own initiative when required to do so and work as part of a wider team
Job Specification
- Minimum 1 years' experience in hospitality supervisory role
- Experience in a conference and banqueting
- Personal licence holder preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective Decision Makers

Part-time hours: 25 per week

£12.50 per hour
