- Provide specialized psychotherapeutic services to children and young people with mental health issues as part of a multi-disciplinary CAMHS team.
- Deliver psychotherapeutic assessments and therapies to service users and their families/carers, offering advice and consultation to colleagues.
- Contribute to CAMHS assessments, interventions, and support plans for children in care, including highly specialized evaluations.
- Conduct specialized psychotherapeutic assessments based on complex data.
- Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based methods across different care settings.
- Provide psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups based on psychoanalytic principles.
- Evaluate treatment options considering theoretical models and complex factors.
- Take autonomous responsibility for assessing, treating, and discharging children and young people.
- Contribute to the overall care framework for children and young people with mental health challenges.
- Undertake risk assessment and management for individuals.
- Act as a case worker, initiating and reviewing CAMHS care plans.
- Communicate effectively regarding assessments and treatment plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist position at Harrow CAMHS.
