Open Ended Contract - Permanent; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.**We are looking for a Philanthropy Projects Officer to join our Philanthropy & Donor Relations Team within Development & Alumni.


The Opportunity:


The post-holder will support the work of the Director of Philanthropy and the Philanthropy & Donor Relations team, to contribute to plans and projects to aid in the delivery of long-term fundraising aspirations.

This role provides a terrific opportunity to learn about all aspects of fundraising and to contribute to cross-team projects that will have a real impact on students and research.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Entry-level project management experience and experience of planning and tracking work, identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent organisational skills, selfmotivation, and an ability to work unsupervised to get the job done including an ability to manage time, deadlines and multiple tasks
  • Ability to be an effective team member is essential, understanding when to delegate tasks to other Projects Officers or team members as appropriate
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and be flexible and resilient amidst evolving priorities with excellent influencing skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills including written, oral and numerical with good attention to detail, and ability to conduct basic research. Knowledge and competency with software including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and databases
