As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, you'll be the friendly face and the first person our clients see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fussThis is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week with 1:4/5 Saturdays (Am at Corner, PM at Mitcham)
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 10:30am-6:30pm, Tuesday & Thursday - 11:30am-7:30pm, with a share of Bank Holidays. Part-Time will be considered.
Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
Help the Vet and Nurse team with queries
Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
Ordering food and medication
Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet 0% finance application processing for those clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism - and don't forget about those emails coming through or those social media pages
Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service Be proficient in computer systems and software, having experience using RxWorks is a MASSIVE plus
