Role Snapshot:
As a successful Future Teacher, your role will entail serving as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school in Salisbury. You will step in to cover lessons when teachers are briefly absent, ensuring students stay on track with tasks assigned by their teachers.
Although direct teaching, marking, or planning is not mandatory, you will oversee the class, providing a top-notch learning environment and gaining valuable insights into the teaching realm.

Throughout Your Placement, You Will:
- Keep a detailed journal of your daily experiences
- Observe lessons within your subject area and beyond to enhance your teaching expertise

- Work alongside the school staff to bolster pastoral support systems for student growth
- Familiarize yourself with school policies and comprehend the reasoning behind their development
- Master the curriculum in your subject field and explore how your academic knowledge can be put into practice, showcasing this to the school
- Aid students with coursework and exam readiness
Criteria to Meet:
- Possession of a Degree (mandatory)
- A Levels (preferred)
- GCSE qualifications in English and Maths (mandatory)
