Reed Finance is working with a leading hospitality group in county Antrim, in the appointment of a permanent
Group Finance Manager.

This is a key role within the group.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and managing a small team, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely information across all areas of the finance function.

You will be a seniormember of the team with direct responsibility for current & future finance activities and developments throughout the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing the day to day running of a small team of finance professionals
Plan, organise, and execute financial tasks and projects for the organisation
Ensure an efficient, effective, and wellrun month end timetable is achieved month on month
Assistance and management of financial projections, budgets vs actuals, cashflows, management accounts and statutory returns
Commentary and analysis of monthly management accounts
Production and review of weekly flash details for revenue and wages
Review and sign off all Intercompany and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Ensure the company adheres to financial policies, procedures, and legislation ensuring sufficient review and best practice is achieved
Review of systems and controls to ensure robust processes and policies are in place

Essential criteria:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CAI or equivalent)
Also open to considering those who are qualified by experience
Demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and standards
Strong IT skills and experience working with financial software packages as well as Microsoft office particularly Microsoft Excel (advanced advantageous) and Word
Experience of using SAGE Intacct accounts
Hospitality experience is
advantageous:
In depth knowledge of SAGE 50 accounts package functionalities
Experience of setting up and maintaining FA modules

Experience of report writing in SAGE**: desirable
