    Job Overview

    The Colne Practice is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and have the autonomy to make crucial decisions in patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage patients with various medical conditions, offering expert advice.
    • Prescribe medication following guidelines.
    • Conduct and analyze pathology tests.
    • Maintain accurate patient records.
    • Support the team during emergencies.
    • Contribute to practice objectives.
    • Conduct consultations and home visits.
    • Implement immunization programs.

    The Colne Practice is a welcoming GP practice serving around 10,500 patients. Our dedicated team includes GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff.

    Qualifications:

    Necessary Qualifications

    • Registered nurse with NMC.
    • Post-graduate qualification in Advanced Practice.
    • Certified independent nurse prescriber.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Ability to work autonomously within professional boundaries.
    • Proficiency in problem-solving and health promotion.
    • Understanding of PGDs and relevant policies.
    • Strong motivation and forward-thinking mindset.
    • Compassion and resilience in challenging situations.
