Description

We are looking for a highly committed individual with demonstrable quality improvement experience to join Organisational Development at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

Organisational development provides leadership, advice, practical support and training for quality improvement and transformational change initiatives throughout the Trust.


Within this role you will:


Use coaching and facilitation skills to support teams in delivering improvement projects across the organisation and, in some cases, the wider health and care system.

Support the evaluation of improvement and adapt your approach to improvement on a continuous basis, including skills such as project management and co-ordination

Support teams in making improvements across a variety of pathways

Contribute to improving the time patients wait for diagnosis and treatment

Using coaching and facilitation skills you will support teams delivering improvement projects across the organisation

You will co-ordinate and promote wider improvement projects across the Trust and linked organisations

You will provide teams with improvement and transformation techniques including support with analytics and statistical measurements.

You will support with the evaluation of improvement and help adapt approaches on a continuous basis.


This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 Months due to the post being recruited as part of a limited term project within the Trust.

The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the requirement for the post to be maintained as a part of the project's implementation and the timescales associated with this.

Please also note any secondment must first be agreed with your current line manager.
