Hours:
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Days only with no nights, weekends

Salary:
Starting at £22,500 pa, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits package plus annual bonuses.

As a result of year-on-year success within the company and continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of our brand-new Logistics team in Alderley Park supporting our highly skilled scientists within our Toxicology team.

Role and Responsibilities

As our Logistics Warehouse Operative, you will be a key member of a small team responsible for day-to-day Warehouse Tasks and completing them in an efficient, timely and profitable way.

Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, returning of goods. Carrying out monthly stocktakes, invoice, and query management to assist purchasing & finance. Physical Transfer of stock within Alderley Park sites.
Ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity, location.
Material Resource Planning for >340 inventory parts & >10,000 SKU's
Shop floor management with daily morning meetings, provide support on other duties when required
Maintain Good Housekeeping in the stores area and assist with 5S implementation within the department.

Skills & Competencies (essential)

Previous experience with Warehouse ERP Systems
Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/ pharma
Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable
Proactive approach to work with the ability to problem solve issues.
Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects.

Desirable

IATA/ADR certification
Experience and knowledge of COSHH regulations
Able to organise daily tasks, to frequently work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Possess excellent attention to detail, performing work to an exceptionally high standard.
Able to use initiative to solve problems and troubleshoot.
