Description

Our client located in Luton requires a Logistics person to join their small but friendly team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will be working across all departments within the company - coordinating and tracking movement of sporting merchandise goods through internal and external logistic pathways.

Executing logistics plans to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
Duties
Review freight rates and other transportation costs - keeping working costs low.
Maintaining quality throughout the logistic processes
Arranging transport for all sales orders that are to be delivered by utilizing the internal reporting system
Liaise with corresponding suppliers
Preparation of all paperwork's required (such as - delivery notes, commercial invoices, ATR1)
Notify purchasing for checking and dispatching and invoicing from our internal software
Prepare supplier reports as to performance for on time deliveries/queries/ under and overs
Supporting the customer quotation stages to ensure that quoting is competitive
Arrange transport for all stock purchase orders that are to be delivered by utilizing the internal reporting system

Assist with stock control via our various warehouses

Our client supports huge sporting events across the UK and overseas and requires a team player to join their extremely fast paced team to continue their fantastic relationships.

Working hours
Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm
£30,000 - £40,000
33 days holiday ( BH inclusive )
Hybrid working
