Car Main Dealer Workshop Controller


Location:
Bedfordshire


Salary:
OTE £40,000


Our client is a leading car main dealer in Bedfordshire, committed to delivering an experiential customer service that exceeds both business objectives and customer expectations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to leadand manage their workshop team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop team, including technicians and service advisors
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget
  • Monitor and maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided
  • Provide technical support to technicians and service advisors as required
  • Manage workshop health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out in the workshop
  • Manage and control workshop costs to achieve profitability targets

Requirements:


  • Technical experience and people management experience is essential
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving license
