    Essentials for this role include:

    • NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
    • Recent experience in engine or compressor servicing
    • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
    • Electrical and/or pneumatic experience is beneficial
    • Driving License required for travel within the UK for customer site visits

    As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing dustless blasting equipment, compressors, and air breathing units.

    Candidates should have a solid background in the industrial mechanical sector, good fault-finding abilities, and the capability to work independently. Some compressor experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.

    Key responsibilities of this role:

    • Diagnosing issues across various machinery in the industrial mechanical sector
    • Mainly working at the head office to service and repair machinery
    • Traveling to UK customer sites for servicing and breakdowns
    • Supporting team members on special projects

    Salary & Working Hours:

    • £25,000 per year, depending on experience
    • 41-hour workweek with overtime potential
    • Fully equipped service van and fuel card
    • Uniform provided
    • Up to 20 days of annual leave (increasing by 1 day per year up to 27) plus 8 bank holidays
    • Company closure during Christmas and New Year
    • Early finish on Fridays (based on workload)
    • Workplace pension plan
