We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR Coordinator to join our ambitious HR team.
This is a new role and a unique opportunity for an innovative HR professional to challenge the status quo and make significant contributions to shaping the future of the role, team and service.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating activities relating to all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding, HR metrics, HR system administration and training and development - a diverse role where no two days will be the same.
You will have an HR administrative or coordinator background and be able to demonstrate the skills to be able to support managers and employees with general queries relating to all HR activities and provide excellent administrative support across the HR team.
With great people and communication skills, and a passion for all aspects of the role, you will be a very important cog within our team.
This role would suit an individual who has experience within a fast - paced HR team who also enjoys a varied role and delivering improvements.
To be successful you will need to be able to
- Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role
- Communicate effectively with employees and managers across the Council
- Be self motivated and manage your own work load with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrate excellent organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Challenge procedures and processes to make relevant improvements within the team
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity
