- Ownership of the company's fixed asset register and intangible assets/work in progress accounts.
- Posting and reconciliation of cost accruals.
- Variance analysis - Investigation of month end expense variances for the Group's European entities.
- Balance sheet reconciliations – Ownership of several subsidiary trial balances.
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- Processing of manual and automatic journals in NetSuite ERP system.
- Expenses platform management and admin. Providing support to the wider business with expense queries.
- Support the preparation of the year-end group and subsidiary financial statements and statutory audits.
- Assisting and providing guidance to the Accounts Payable and other Finance teams.
- Support the Finance team on ad hoc projects.
- Proven experience of general accounting within a busy, international Finance team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively with a clear sense of urgency.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- An effective communicator, able to work closely with management and non-finance people.
- Self-motivated, flexible and performance orientated.
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel. Power BI skills an advantage. Experience with ERP systems, ideally with Oracle NetSuite.
