Description

Our client is currently a large well known retail brand are actively looking to hire Scala/Java Engineer/ Developer to be based remotely, with trips to their offices in London.

Location:
Hybrid / London - Can be Fully Remote

Duration:6 Months

Start Date:
ASAP

Rates:
Negotiable - Inside IR35

We are looking for someone who can come onboard and learn the existing Scala/Akka & Java code for the purpose of distributing prices and promotions.

Working independently and good communication is key. Willingness to work with Java is also important.

Key Skills:

Scala, Java, Kafka, Functional Library's such as Cats/Typelevel/Shapeless.

Nice to have:

AWS, DevOps, ELK Stack
