Trip Designer - Triathlon

Destination Sport Experiences

This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office with flexibility for homeworking, so you must live within a commutable distance.


Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for a
Trip Designer - Triathlon to manage a collection of Triathlon events, from planning the event, contracting the services required, right the way through to planning the delivery of the event.


This is a varied, hands on role and on a typical day you will;

  • Plan the operational delivery of events, working alongside the International Delivery team
  • Prepare the predeparture information
  • Liaise with hotels, transport companies, event organisers and other external suppliers
  • Manage the product and keep the website up to date
  • Ensure the product is loaded correctly on to the website for sale
  • Constantly monitor the sales position and suggest appropriate course of action depending upon the position
  • Work closely with our internal Sales and Marketing teams
  • New product development
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for sports and an interest in our core offering


Key skills

  • A working knowledge of travel, and experience working in sports travel
  • Product experience specifically in planning triathlons and events
  • Excellent planning and event management skills
  • You will be a selfstarter with the ability to manage the logistics of an event
  • Customer focused and excellent relationship building skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written skills and communication
