We have an opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to join our SES division based onsite in Leicester. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, this role will be accountable for the daily commercial management and administration of the project supply chain to achieve business objectives on a complex project. This is a key project for our SES Midlands region and we are looking for you to work with complete focus and determination to be part of a team delivering a large scale £140m+ MEP, MOJ project.

SES deliver bespoke, design-led cost efficient solutions optimised for the whole construction team, by maximising off-site manufacture in our production facility SES PRISM delivering our solutions which minimise onsite resources and interfaces assuring quality and customer satisfaction in a measurable, safe way every time.

Key Accountabilities include:

Produce commercial reports both internally and external to the company
Develop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that SES main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed
Ensure the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment and Subsubcontract works, undertake commercial assessment of quotes received and ensure the timely placement of orders on commercially advantageous terms to facilitate project delivery and ensure business objectives are met.
Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up
Be responsible for and ensuring recovery of the costs/value and time associated with change from SES's Clients to allow agreement of final accounts
Ensure all contractual processes are completed on time

Alongside this you will be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with all stakeholders.
