Finance Apprentice (Credit Control / Invoicing) at Medstrom

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual to join our close-knit Credit Control team as a Finance Apprentice focusing on credit control and invoicing at Medstrom.

This incredible team at Medstrom will be there to support you right from day one, guiding you to acquire new skills and knowledge that will set you up for success.

As a Finance Apprentice, you will be based at our modern Head Office in Castle Donington, situated on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border, with excellent transport links to Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.

Your Role:

Assist with Credit Control tasks like chasing invoices, generating reports, and sending customer statements
Help in sending out monthly statements and rental invoices
Support in preparing and posting monthly invoices and accounts
Manage correspondence including letters and credit card payments
Working hours: Monday to Friday approximately 8:30am - 5pm; flexibility available to accommodate travel
Enrolment in the Credit Controller and Collector Level 2 qualification program, a combination of workplace and online learning

About You:

GCSEs at level 4 (grade C) or higher in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred
Strong interest in building a career in Finance and Credit Control
Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with a knack for prioritizing tasks
Personable, articulate, and well-presented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and a quick learner of new systems
Flexibility and readiness to support the team in various tasks
High level of attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external stakeholders
