We would love to tell you about an opportunity that has just arisen for an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our fantastic team here in Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP).
You will work alongside colleagues to implement Speech and Language therapy for children and young people of pre-school and school age and be well supported alongside our excellent team of therapists across the patch, as well as an experienced team leader.
We would be looking for applicants who have some post graduate experience of working with Early years children, and have a good understanding of working within clinic settings.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of local hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester boroughs (population 357K).
The Trust provides high quality planned and unplanned/emergency care, cardiac and critical care as well as child health, maternity services, and intermediate care across our sites at Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford.

To provide assessment, diagnosis and appropriate speech and language therapy intervention for clients referred to the Service in line with RCSLT Communicating Quality 3.
To identify the need for clinical support and advice and seek this from more senior clinicians as appropriate in order to provide a high quality Service.
To work closely with all appropriate agencies and colleagues for exchange of information and to ensure the comprehensive management of the client, as advised by a more senior clinician.
This may include the provision of professional advice in the form of a report for inclusion in the Statutory Assessment of Special Educational Needs where this is requested and undertake Annual Reviews as appropriate.
To be advised on the use of current practice by more senior clinicians.To undertake the placements of Speech and Language Therapy students as appropriate.
To provide support for newly qualified Speech and Language Therapy students as appropriate.
To participate in the development of innovative practice in collaboration with more senior clinicians.
To develop clinical expertise under direction and in consultation with more senior clinicians.
To keep up to date with current clinical and technological advances in discussion with more senior clinicians.
To provide training to others as appropriate.
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Appropriate Postgraduate Qualifications
Evidence of paediatric Assessment and treatment skills
Evidence of working with children with complex needs / ASC
Evidence of working within a variety of settings including EYs settings / previous experience of clinics
