Job Title
IT Helpdesk Coordinator


Reports to
Human Resources Manager


Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, installation, configuration, and testing of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and peripherals.
  • Provide technical support to endusers by resolving hardware, software, and networkrelated issues remotely and in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment or replacing defective parts.
  • Conduct regular equipment inventories and asset management, including tracking and documenting hardware and software installations, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions for improving system efficiency, performance, and security.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Key Skills

  • College diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for IT equipment, both remotely and onsite.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
