Job Title
Purchase Ledger Clerk
Reports to
Finance Manager
Summary
Following on from recent growth within the business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance Team.
This is an ideal opportunity to join a fast-growing company and start an accountancy career.
Responsibilities
- Full training and support will be given so you can;
- Raise purchase orders
- Prepare purchase invoices for recording and coding on a daily basis
- Prepare supplier statements for monthly reconciliation
- Assist with payment runs and ad hoc payments online
- Create and maintain supplier records
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Other bookkeeping tasks
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the businesses
Key Skills
- Selfmotivated and resilient with excellent organisational skills
- Hardworking, flexible and reliable with good attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Excel is essential
