We are currently seeking to appoint a Registry Officer based at our Head Office, on a Full-time, permanent basis.


Job purpose:


To assist the School Administrator in ensuring the effective administration of Registry which is responsible for all strategy, processes and administration relating to the student experience from enrolment through to graduation.


Key responsibilities:


  • Ensures that full, accurate and accessible records are kept in relation to all student administration, liaising with other departments as necessary;
  • Participates in student record processes and tasks including the updating of the School's management system (SMS) in the following areas: registration/reregistration, course enrolment, results, student progress, withdrawals, student status verifications, reviews and appeals;
  • Provides administrative support for appeals, disciplinary and other Registry related investigations as required;
  • To provide advice and support in relation to student financial support, as well as implications of interruptions and withdrawals of study to students;
  • Creating Timetables, changing of classes when needed, for all campuses i.e Luton, Birmingham and Wembley;
  • Updates the School's management system (SMS) in accordance with the academic calendar and teaching timetable;
  • Assists in the development, testing and maintenance of administrative and computer based systems within Registry, e.g. SMS, liaising with IT Services and other stakeholders as necessary, including promoting the development and increased use of online student interfaces to enable webbased service delivery;
  • Prepares ad hoc reports from the current student related systems on data that is not easily accessible to others or where there is not a bespoke report available;
  • Assists the School Administrator in preparing for external audits or inspections (UKBA, QAA, BAC, SLC, Edexcel etc);
  • Prepares and edits publications as directed;
  • Assists other sections of the Registry as directed by the School Administrator;
  • Other tasks as and when required.
The post holder will solely be responsible to look after All campuses. He/ She will have to travel quite often to visit different campuses and full training will be provided.

The post holder must respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
