**Accounts Payable
Permanent
Based in Worthing (parking available)
Hybrid working (4 days in the office, then reduced to 3 days and flexi hours
£24,000 - £28,000 per annum **Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a leading and well known business in the Worthing area on a permanent basis.


Your duties will include:


  • Pay suppliers on are paid and on time
  • Answer any payment queries raised by suppliers
  • Check supplier statements
  • Match invoices received to approved purchase orders
  • Invoices are authorised and coded by approvers
  • Ensure credit limits and terms are fully exploited but suppliers are not paid late
  • Make foreign payments to overseas suppliers
  • Reconcile the aged creditors to the general ledger balance sheet account
  • Provide support for cashflow forecasting

Key requirements:


  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Confident in using Excel
  • Ideally available at short notice
