About the Role
Reporting to the UAS Build Team Leader, we are looking for a Production Operator to support project delivery commitments and working within the Operations team on UAV build tasks.
Responsibilities:
General
- Assembling UAV's in accordance with work instructions and from the kit of parts supplied.
- Crimping connectors and soldering small components.
- Assembling components and assemblies using small screws and nuts.
- Checking work by using test equipment to verify correct assembly.
- Participate in problem solving with other company functions.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to perform build tasks as part of an overall UAV build programme.
- Get involved in problem solving to improve the build process.
- Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner
- Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
- When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.
About You
You should be an experienced assembler of high integrity electromechanical products who is organised and self-motivated.
You will be working as part of a growing department, so being able to work well within a team is of high importance.
Essential- Good communication skills.
- Construction of electromechanical assemblies.
- Following both written and verbal work instructions.
- Supporting problem solving activities to reduce nonconformance arisings and reducing build time.
- A full valid UK driving licence.
- Soldering and testing of your own work.
