About the Role

Reporting to the UAS Build Team Leader, we are looking for a Production Operator to support project delivery commitments and working within the Operations team on UAV build tasks.

Responsibilities:

General

Assembling UAV's in accordance with work instructions and from the kit of parts supplied.
Crimping connectors and soldering small components.
Assembling components and assemblies using small screws and nuts.
Checking work by using test equipment to verify correct assembly.
Participate in problem solving with other company functions.
Follow written and verbal instructions to perform build tasks as part of an overall UAV build programme.
Get involved in problem solving to improve the build process.

Health & Safety

Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner
Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.

About You
You should be an experienced assembler of high integrity electromechanical products who is organised and self-motivated.

You will be working as part of a growing department, so being able to work well within a team is of high importance.

Essential

Good communication skills.
Construction of electromechanical assemblies.
Following both written and verbal work instructions.
Supporting problem solving activities to reduce nonconformance arisings and reducing build time.
