Description
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality

multi-professional learning environments within the care group and will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted.

The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which may require cross boundar.

Assessing the quality of a range of practice learning
environments, determining interventions to sustain and enhance
practice education; ensuring all service areas have an up to date
action plan in place.

  • Supporting and facilitating the development of clinical practice
supervisors/assessors and staff, providing supervision and
support structures in order to build education in practice
capability, consistency and efficiency.

  • Leading on the structuring and coordination of interprofessional
learning activity across a service area(s).

  • Developing, cocoordinating, evaluating and implementing
education programmes with Higher Education/relevant training
provider partners.


Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

  • Lead on the structuring, design and delivery of interprofessional
learning opportunities in practice for healthcare students and
practice supervisors/assessors, within the Trust.

  • Work in partnership with the HEIs and relevant training providers
in the planning, delivery and review of development
programmes for practice supervisors/assessors in order to meet
the learning needs of different professional/staff groups, and to
ensure that the facilitation of inter-professional learning
outcomes is included.

  • Lead on the development, implementation and review of
education in practice learning environments in line with
educational policy.
