- Production Planning and Scheduling: Manage all production work scheduling in coordination with the workshop supervisor to ensure smooth job flow throughout the workshop.
- Customer Interaction: Provide updates and estimates to customers on production tasks and suggest additional services where suitable.
- Work Issuance: Assign tasks to production staff, clearly outlining expectations and offering necessary clarifications. Collaborate with the workshop supervisor for quality inspections and specific instructions as needed.
- Monitoring Systems: Supervise the Tee card and Clock in systems, particularly for unique or specialized projects, to ensure accurate job time tracking.
- Supplier Liaison:
- Parts Coordination: Coordinate with the Production Buyer to guarantee timely availability of parts, properly positioned and prepared for workshop use.
- Sales Forecasting: Regularly provide sales forecasts to the Engineering Manager and HESL directors.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive and precise completion of all workshop paperwork.
- Software Utilization: Utilize company software for production work organization and project monitoring.
- Logistics Coordination: Efficiently manage all deliveries and pickups.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all vehicle maintenance needs are met according to the office schedule.
- Team Support: Offer guidance and assistance to workshop staff to promote a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
- Demonstrated expertise in production planning/scheduling or similar roles.
