- To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or under the supervision of the Contract Manager or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on: Service and repair of doors windows and general building fabric.Service and repair of plumbing systems.Small plaster repairs and painting.Service and repair of internal fixtures and fittings.PPM across relevant sitesReactive helpdesk calls across relevant sites.
- To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the Hard Services Manager of any follow up action that may be required.
- To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover.
- To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
- To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services

Maintenance Engineer - Fabric
Location : Mobile across sites in Hull: Winifred Holtby Academy, Tweendykes School, Kingswood Academy, Marvell College
Contract : Full time, permanent.
Hours : 40 hours week. Core hours Monday-Friday, daytime hours
On-Call: Requirement to take part in shared rota for 24/7 cover 365 days per year

Your new role
What you'll do:
About you:
To be successful in your application, you will be a qualified tradesperson or with significant relevant skills including basic joinery, plumbing, tiling, plastering, etc. Electrical knowledge would be advantageous. You will be able to work autonomously with good intuition to solve building fabric requirements to a safe and high-quality finish. Valid UK Driving Licence required due to multi-site nature of role (4 sites in Hull).
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS Check before starting in the job.
