About the team:


As
Business Services Team Manager you will be a proactive and encouraging leader to 3 Senior Business Process Officers, managing and enhancing the development and delivery of assigned governance and oversight for the OSB Group Customer RegulatoryReporting activities.

You will play an important role to ensure optimal productivity and delivery of FCA-regulated reporting, completing monthly performance / annual appraisal reviews.

What you will be doing:


This is an important role, with lots of future scope, where you will provide ongoing regulatory reporting support services to ensure annual regulatory reporting events and business change activities are conducted in an effective, compliant and timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing, coaching and leading a successful team to ensure output meets regulatory requirements and timelines
  • Partner across areas of the business including risk and Delivery teams to ensure the proactive implementation of appropriate control activity and mitigation of risk;
  • Ongoing development of the operational risk, data management strategies
  • Continuous improvement to ensure the right controls are regularly tested to proactively mitigate any process risks and gaps
  • Reporting the effectiveness of the processes within the function of responsibility and making recommendations to enhance and taking forward relevant corrective action plans
  • Plan, coordinate and support with internal and external assurance and audit reviews ensuring deliverables and findings are agreed and addressed

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £45,000 - £55,000 and a competitive benefits package:

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Strong track record of successful line management and staff development in a UK Financial Services organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to disseminate complex information at the correct level
  • Excellent knowledge of governance structures
  • Demonstrable recent experience in a risk control selfassessment (RCSA) or quality assurance role
  • Understanding of HMRC/ISA/AEOI/BBSI retail customer regulatory reporting and/or knowledge of FSCS (SCV) and access of continuity processes
