Risk & Regulatory Reporting Controller - London, United Kingdom - Allianz Trade
Description
We are currently looking for a Risk and Regulatory Reporting Controller to join our Canary Wharf based Finance team.The role:
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely data / calculations and qualitative information to the UK Regulator as well as responding to ad hoc requests.
- Lead the delivery of key risk controlling tasks within the local Controlling function including the PAAC process and OREC submissions.
What you will do:
- Align local reporting to Region / Group reporting in order to speak a unique, common language and avoid double work
- Leads transformation process to instil processes that enable full regulatory reporting and enable understanding and clarity of outputs and any issues.
- Ensure Igloo software is fully operational and reflects accurately the situation of the UK branch.
- Be the business owner of the software implemented for Regulatory calculations fully understanding all aspects of the process.
- Provide accurate quantitative inputs for the software. Summarise results and be able to have informed discussions with the Regulator / provide clear communication and guidance to local management.
- Prepare qualitative reports (ORSA...) for submission to the Regulator liaising with EH SA / Group teams to ensure consistency.
- Contribute suggestions and guidance to maximise the combined efficiency of the UK branch / EH SA capital position
- Contribute to the local Controlling function as required.
- Risk controlling function: capture & report operational risk events; report, anad analyse, technical data (claims / premiums) for provision in to local / group reporting processes as well as for external requests (e.g. ABI).
- Manage PAAC process; coordinate Non Financial Risk Management (or equivalent) process.
