The Coffee House is proud to announce an exciting new position as a Hr & Recruitment Administrator in our coffee shop, based in our Head Office in Warrington.


The Coffee House is a chain of independent coffee shops based across the North West of England and North Staffordshire, We opened our first store in Lymm village in 2011 with the vision to change the way people eat, drink and relax and have been continuing to grow the business ever since We are a forward thinking company, priding ourselves on new and innovative ways of working.

About you


As a family oriented business we are looking for people who can come and join our journey who share the same passion and enthusiasm for genuine hospitality.

You will sit within the People Department within Central Functions, but will also support the Operations team. Owning all the administrative components of the employee life cycle. Supporting the HR Manager and Operations team with various projects to be implemented in this vastly growing business.

This is a multi site role, and you will need to travel to any site when required.


Responsibilities

Recruitment:_

  • Working closely with the Marketing Team and Store Managers to continuously promote the culture of The Coffee House on our website and social media pages.
  • Own and lead all internal and external recruitment across the business.
  • Continuously review and update Job Profiles and adverts to ensure they are kept relevant as the company evolves
  • Support Store Managers in reviewing succession plans prior to recruiting externally
  • Research different channels of advertising which are cost effective and offer good quality talent.
  • Promote and encourage recruitment traffic through our careers portal, ensuring it is kept fully up to date

Onboarding:_

  • Inputting new starters onto payroll and allocating training modules where appropriate.
  • Own the recruitment programme for new store openings. Advertising and screening for the Head of Growth for key roles and subsequently working with the new Store Manager to recruit good quality Team Members.

HR Administration_

  • Responsible for processing starters, leavers, promotions, changes to contract etc
  • Inputting the relevant pre payroll data
  • Processing and confirming leavers in writing
  • Be a People Hub expert responsible for any employee and Manager administrative queries.
  • Prepare letters for those on maternity, or any HR related meetings
  • Supporting Managers with understanding our people policies
  • Own and support various projects that arise in the People team when required.
  • Data Controller regularly data cleanse ensuring contracts are signed and Right to work is compliant.
  • Manage the HR Inbox forwarding any queries that cannot be resolved to the relevant party.

Salary:
£23,000.00 per year
