    Job Title: Community Practice Educator at SEND Children's Health Team

    Job Summary: Are you passionate about developing staff and maintaining high standards of care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Community Practice Educator to join our team at the SEND Children's Health Team as we embark on a transformation journey focused on enhancing integrated Children's services.

    Main Duties of the Job:

    • Provide high-quality training, support, and development for health visiting students and nurses
    • Offer clinical leadership for the 0-19 service
    • Contribute to local and regional developments in Health Visiting and Children & Young People's Nursing
    • Support the education of students and the wider workforce

    Person Specification:

    Qualifications

    • Registered General Nurse or Midwife
    • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting
    • Community Practice Teacher/Educator qualification
    • Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development
    • Member of relevant professional body with an active NMC registration

    Experience:

    • Experience of Safeguarding Children
    • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage and implement change effectively
    • Ability to influence others and establish credible relationships
    • Knowledge of National, Regional, and Local Health Visiting & public health issues
    • Mentor qualification & Active status
    • Computer literacy
    • Satisfactory DBS check
